FAQs
Why must my organization be credentialed?
Credentialing confirms your organization is authorized to request employment and income data. It protects employees and employers and is required before verifications can be completed.
How do I submit a verification?
Use Requesting Verifications (or your Verification Inbox workflows) to submit a new request with the required employee and permissible-purpose details. See Requesting Verifications in this Help Center.
How long will it take to complete a verification?
Timing depends on employee approval and data availability. Many requests complete quickly once the employee responds; others may take longer if action is needed. Track status in Verification Inbox.
How do I complete a reverification?
Use the Reverification Process guide in this Help Center. Start from the prior verification or inbox actions to request updated employment/income information under the allowed process for your organization type.
Is there a fee for a government verification?
Government verifier fee rules differ from commercial verifiers. Check your billing settings after signup or contact support@clearverify.com for the current government verification fee policy for your agency.
